This hardly looks remotely close to the park we saw in the summer time. What a contrast in nature...stunning black, grey and white harmonious beauty.

We had some amazing snow over the Christmas Break. At our house we got 10 inches, which for Clatskanie is a lot of snow. It was beautiful but I was done with snow by day 8. Then it continued for 8 more days. Of course that was still better than the rain that followed and flooded everything including I-5 stopping traffic from Portland to Seattle for 3 days. BUT, I love the Northwest!

Beautiful photos. Last week, they were forecasting snow for this Saturday (90% chance). Now, they're saying it probaby won't happen. Oh well, maybe next year...
