Cass Gilbert (architect of the Woolworth Building and the Custom House) built the beautiful headquarters for the New York Life Insurance Company from 1926-1928.

THE SECOND MADISON SQUARE GARDEN
This was the structure designed by Stanford White. (He was murdered on the roof of his building in 1906.) Note the weather vane, Diana, by Augustus Saint Gaudens with bow and arrow at the top.
