Friend, fellow guide, and Little Byte alum, Janice Goldberg, was touring a group of eighth-graders through the third floor at Ellis Island, pointing out the beautiful clothing in the Treasures from Home section.
"Someone did this by hand?" one of the boys asked, especially enamored of the lace.
"That's right."
"Wow!" he exclaimed. "I can't even croquet."
A couple of weeks ago we asked, "Who was the towering French architect who designed the interior support for the Statue of Liberty?"
One very sweet girl was quick to answer:
"Hitler!"
An architect of an entirely different nature...
